Following her hard-fought victory, Raducanu shared her satisfaction with her performance. "I'm proud to have made it through to the next round. It was tough and very humid," Raducanu said. Reflecting on her recent lack of match play, she added, "It was a tough match to get through. I haven't played many matches in the last few months."

Raducanu didn't shy away from acknowledging Stearns' talent and form. "Peyton is a really good player in good form so I'm really pleased," she remarked, highlighting the quality of her opponent and the significance of her victory.
